13th International Meeting of High Representatives for Security Issues has started in Moscow.
The forum is taking place at the Russia National Centre, presided by Sergei Shoigu, Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation. Delegates of the CSTO, CIS, SCO, BRICS, ASEAN, the Arab League, the African Union and other international organizations are participating in the forum. More than 125 delegations in total are in attendance.
The agenda includes issues of international security cooperation. In particular, the delegates are to discuss the establishment of a new, fairer architecture of equal and indivisible security that will be more attuned to modern realities.
A research workshop on global security issues was held for the first time within the framework of the forum. Foreign delegations discussed the key challenges of our time: working towards a just world, building a sustainable security architecture and establishing a real multipolar world order with the interests of all states taken into account.
