By August 29, participants of Vzaimodeistvie-2025 joint exercises with the CSTO Collective Rapid Reaction Forces, as well as Poisk-2025 and Echelon-2025 special exercises, will complete their relocation to the Republic of Belarus.
As you may recall, exercises combining the training of various units of the CSTO Troops (Collective Forces) will take place in the Republic of Belarus at the Losvido and Lepelsky training grounds from August 31 to September 6.
Vzaimodeistvie-2025 joint exercises with the CSTO Collective Rapid Reaction Forces are aimed at honing the preparation and execution of a joint operation to assist the resolution of a crisis situation on the territory of a CSTO Member State.
During Poisk-2025 special exercises, the participants will train the organization and conduct of reconnaissance for the CSTO СRRF.
Echelon-2025 special exercises will focus on the organization of logistical support.
A special feature of the 2025 CSTO military exercises is their close connection with Zapad-2025 joint strategic exercises of the armed forces of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation.
At the recent briefing, Colonel General Andrei Serdyukov, Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff, stressed that the CSTO military exercises are standard exercises of the Organization and they are not aimed against third countries, but meant to improve the coordination of management bodies and troops, as well as maintain the readiness of forces and assets to perform their respective tasks in the interests of ensuring collective security.
