On March 27, the International scientific and practical conference of the CSTO PA "Relevant issues of legal support for ensuring the effective work of the CSTO collective security system until 2030" took place in St. Petersburg.
Milovan Drecun, Head of the Delegation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia to the CSTO PA, addressed the participants of the conference.
The parliamentarian stressed the importance of Serbia's cooperation with the CSTO PA, despite the difficult international situation, and pointed out that Serbia has been an observer in the CSTO PA since 2013.
He paid special attention to the Serbian-Russian Agreement on Cooperation in Combating Terrorism, ratified by the National Assembly on January 28, 2021.
As you may recall, this Agreement includes the exchange of information on terrorist groups, their operations and financing, as well as cooperation in training the anti-terrorist units.
"Reiterating the commitment of the Republic of Serbia's National Assembly to further cooperation with the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly, I'd like to thank you for your attention and wish everyone good health and success in your future work," Milovan Drecun concluded.
